June Wedding at Kemper Lakes Golf Club – Marina & Rafael
Marina and Rafael’s Kemper Lakes Golf Club wedding in June was one for the books! For starters, the day itself was filled with warm sunshine, spring colors, and personal touches. The best part, though, was getting to witness the joy and comfort these two radiate when they’re together. From the moment they first saw each other that day, I had no doubt we were in for something special.
We arrived at the club before the ceremony with plenty of time to explore the golf course for portraits. The light, the views, and the chemistry between these two made my job easy! Kemper Lakes Golf Club Wedding
That afternoon, guests gathered on the clubhouse lawn to watch these two tie the knot. Marina and Rafael exchanged personal vows surrounded by loved ones and a summery breeze. Once it was officially official, it was time to celebrate! Guests were invited to enjoy delicious food and drinks, not to mention the perfect June weather. One of my favorite personal details was the welcome sign – featuring cats Salem and Binx! You may recall these two handsome guys from their formal engagement session earlier this year.
Golden Hour and Dance Party
Just before dinner, the most gorgeous golden hour called to us from outside the club. I’m lucky the newlyweds were up for taking more photos… it was seriously the most dreamy light from the entire day! We got to dance and play in the sunshine before dinner was served, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The rest of the night was all about the party – and believe me, it was a PARTY. It’s clear these two have a unique bond with not only each other, but with their friends and family as well. This day was an honor to capture from beginning to end!

Lauren & Sam’s Colorful June Wedding at The Adler Planetarium
It’s such a treat to reminisce about Lauren and Sam’s June Adler Planetarium wedding! These two truly had a wedding day adventure, and I’m so happy to have been there to capture it. The day began with them getting ready separately at The Gwen, and their joyful first look on the hotel’s terrace! Once Sam and Lauren were together, it was ALL smiles for the rest of the day 🙂
Rolls Royce Wedding Photos
Shortly after their first look, our own private car pulled up to the hotel and our adventure began! Driver Peter took us on a downtown tour in a classic 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud I, stopping for photos in a few iconic spots along the way. We even had time to swing by Sam and Lauren’s home for photos with their pup Flora! Isn’t she the sweetest?! Finally, it was time to arrive at the venue in style and for these two to make it official!
Adler Planetarium Wedding
Lauren and Sam were married in under a golden sky on Chicago’s lakefront, steps outside the Adler Planetarium. A family friend officiated the ceremony, which included personal vows and the most vibrant spring florals. That evening, the Newlyweds got to celebrate with loved ones inside the Solarium and outside overlooking our city’s epic skyline. The dance party did NOT disappoint, and Lauren and Sam were as in love as ever. I’m so lucky to have been part of this happy day!

Kristal & Brian’s Romantic Galleria Marchetti Wedding
Do you believe in fate? Like, REALLY believe in it? If the answer is no, I have a feeling that might change after reading this post. Kristal and Brian’s story is one that could be the premise of a film – a Real Life definition of serendipity. A perfect series of events led up to their wedding day.
In their words:
“Our story is a lifetime of missed connections, perfect timing, and fate… Stories like this are said to be called twin flames or mirrored souls, when one soul splits into two bodies that find each other. We have actually been somewhat connected our whole lives.”
Long story short, Kristal and Brian’s families had been acquaintances since they were children. As teenagers, they went to the same high school AND worked at the same movie theatre, and somehow never crossed paths. When they eventually met through a dating app in 2019, they started to make these connections. And get this: Thanks to social media, they even found photos of themselves dancing together at a club from ten years earlier… and neither of them remembers the encounter!! You’d better BELIEVE those photos resurfaced on wedding day… printed large for guests to view during the ceremony 🙂
Galleria Marchetti Wedding
As you can imagine, their June wedding at La Pergola was a much-anticipated event! Brian and Kristal got ready on separate floors of a sweet AirBnb in the West Loop. Their emotional first look took place on the rooftop of their home… including their pup Astro! The summer rain began to fall as soon as Brian turned to see Kristal, and to be honest, this was one of my favorite parts of the entire day.
When we arrived at the venue, romance was in the air. I absolutely LOVED the Roaring 20’s vibe of their decor… perfectly executed by Him & Her Vintage! Kristal and Brian made sure to work with local vendors, some who they even knew personally (shout out to Gurnee Donuts!). From beginning to end, this day was bursting with so much joy, romance, and LOTS of dancing.
