About
Hi! I’m Emma.
Cat Whisperer, World Traveler, Chicago Wedding Photographer.

My photography journey began when I joined Photography Club in high school, spending hours developing my own black and white film in the dark room. I continued to study film in college, transitioning to the digital world shortly after. In recent years I have been documenting weddings with a hybrid Digital + Film approach, and couldn’t be more thrilled to share my love of film photography with our couples.
A true Millennial, I still own a VHS box set of Titanic and remember when people used to ask “Tupac or Biggie?” (my answer: Pac). Since 2014, I’ve been helping couples relive their wedding memories by creating an environment where they can be themselves in front of the camera. I have also found this career to be unexpectedly rewarding; as photographers, the role we play in a couple’s family history is something we take very seriously.
I currently live in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago with my partner Jeremy and our two adopted cats. When I’m not photographing couples in love, I’m either hanging with these three, catching a film at Music Box, or traveling someplace new.
