Whitney & Corey’s South Loop Engagement Session Featuring Webster
Whitney and Corey are getting married in ONE MONTH!! Today I’m starting the countdown with their South Loop engagement session from September. This session felt like the perfect reflection of their relationship – relaxed, joyful, and full of personality. We talked about wedding planning, their first date (Corey’s a beer nerd like me), magic (yes, MAGIC) and our travel adventures. As you can see, they are absolutely adorable together and genuinely enjoy each others’ company.
I met these two in Grant Park, a place they have spent lots of quality time as a couple. We were joined by their mini-schnauzer Webster, of course – an integral part of their family! Before Corey entered the picture, it was Whitney and Webster. But according to their wedding web site, when these two started dating:
“It was love at first sight — Webster and Corey bonded instantly and are now thick as thieves. (Some might argue Corey was really dating Webster all along.)”
Buckingham Fountain Engagement Photos
Chicago showed off for us that night. The soft light was a photographer’s dream, and these two looked smitten as ever. We even took a detour down an alleyway to mix it up, and these are some of my favorite photos from our entire session! As the sun began to set, we headed toward Buckingham Fountain with the skyline glowing in the distance. Meanwhile, Webster, took his job very seriously and made sure we stopped for plenty of photos along the way.
Whitney and Corey: Thank you for spending such a beautiful September evening exploring Chicago with me. I really enjoyed listening to your stories, laughing with you, and documenting this season of your lives. Can’t wait to celebrate next month!
