Sarabande Chicago Wedding

One highlight of Summer 2025 was Erin and Kevin’s holiday weekend wedding at Sarabande. Friends and family gathered from near and far to celebrate with these two, and the energy was contagious! From the moment I arrived at the venue, these two radiated excitement. I couldn’t help but feel included in their joy.

I met these two at Sarabande where Erin was getting ready in the bridal suite. Kevin arrived shortly after, looking dapper as ever! We captured their first look near the classic piano on the dance floor, and some of my favorite portraits from the entire day. I was also especially excited to be working with black and white film… the medium that sparked my photography journey decades ago in my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Speaking of which, Erin and Kevin first met in Milwaukee! Their story began years ago as students at Marquette University. The rekindled their connection at a friend’s party in recent years (we got to hear different versions of this story on wedding day)! In short, sparks flew, and these two became inseparable shortly after. A dear friend officiated the ceremony, and every moment felt personal and true to them.

Summer Wedding Celebration

Once the knot was tied, Erin and Kevin spent the evening celebrating with their guests and each other. Their day truly felt like one big party – it was clear that every single person’s presence meant the world to them. Kevin’s speech kept the entertainment factor high as he spoke adoringly about Erin and their lives together. After dinner, Erin and Kevin’s skilled first dance set the tone – that dance floor stayed packed the entire evening! Again, the energy and atmosphere were undeniable, just like the love these two share (awwww!). I’m thrilled to have been a part of their day!
