Los Angeles Engagement Featuring Griffith Park and Vista Theater – Brigid & Ryan

In February, I made a quick stop in California for Brigid and Ryan’s Los Angeles engagement session. Brigid has been a dear friend of mine for about 15 years… and of course I was thrilled when she and Ryan announced their engagement! These two are both actors in LA, and when we started talking about photos, I knew I was in for a treat. 

Date Night at Justine’s

Our first stop was Justine’s Wine Bar – one of their favorite date night spots in Frogtown. I was immediately excited to take photos inside this unique space! Not only is it the cutest, most picturesque spot for engagement photos, the drinks are delicious and staff is wonderful. Ryan and Brigid were dressed to the nines – their style fit perfectly with the vibe of Justine’s! I love when engagement sessions feel less like a photoshoot and more like a date night, and this one absolutely did.

Griffith Park Engagement Photos

Before long, it was time to head to our next location: Griffith Observatory. I am absolutely obsessed with the view here – every time I’m in town I make a point to visit! We arrived just in time for the most colorful, romantic sunset, and stayed for a few night photos, of course. Brigid and Ryan danced, played, and couldn’t help but take in the scenery. This is one of LA’s most iconic locations, and I’m so happy we had a chance to stop here!

Vista Theater

Act III of their Los Angeles engagement session featured Vista Theater in Hollywood. Fun fact: this theatre was recently purchased and renovated by Quentin Tarantino. Another fun fact: it’s also the location of one of Brigid and Ryan’s first dates! I was especially excited to take photos here after dark, with the romantic neon lights and that nostalgic, cinema vibe (it was so LA!). Seriously, these two could not have been more adorable in front of the camera, or easier to photograph. I can not wait for them to tie the knot in Paso Robles this weekend!
