Lincoln Park Conservatory Wedding

Last fall, I had the honor of photographing Mike and Katie’s intimate Lincoln Park Conservatory wedding. These two have been a pleasure to get to know, and I was so excited to finally celebrate with them! After their romantic Lincoln Park engagement session the previous October, I had been eagerly anticipating their day.

That morning, they got ready separately at Hotel Lincoln with their closest friends and family. Some of my favorite details were the thoughtful nods to their English Bulldogs, Sadie and Snoopy – including Mike’s custom cufflinks! And, can we talk about Katie’s dress?! The floral embroidery and flowy train perfectly echoed the greenhouse vibe, and she wore it so well. Their emotional first look outside Mon Ami Gabi was followed by a private vow exchange, and photos with their favorite people.

We took a stroll to the conservatory across the street to soak up the scenery in the golden October light. Before we knew it, it was time to get these two married! Katie and Mike said I Do surrounded by loved ones, tropical florals, and lush greenery. Once the knot was tied, the newlyweds were absolutely glowing with joy.

Mon Ami Gabi

That evening, the celebration continued at Mon Ami Gabi where guests enjoyed custom cocktails and delicious bites on the patio. The weather cooperated beautifully, and the newlyweds were greeted with cheers and congratulations. The energy did not fade – and neither did the homage to their pups! Their wedding cake featured tiny models of Sadie and Snoopy, who may or may not have tasted the buttercream… and they even made a real-life cameo appearance during a break on the dance floor. The newlyweds were ALL smiles the entire evening, especially when these two arrived!
