Dublin City Centre Engagement Session – Sarah & Brian

One of my favorite memories from last fall was Sarah and Brian’s Dublin engagement session! You may recognize these two from Lisa & Colm’s August wedding at The Arbory… they were part of Colm’s crew who traveled to Chicago from Ireland. I was so excited to meet up with these two again for photos in their own city!

Merrion Square Engagement Photos

Our session began in Merrion Square, which felt especially lovely that evening. The few days I was in Dublin were unseasonably mild – and the most beautiful fall foliage. The square itself was a welcome patch of nature in the middle of the city centre – complete with an Oscar Wilde monument and trees I have never seen before! Brian and Sarah could not have been more adorable as we strolled the park and took it all in. 

Trinity College + Dublin City Centre

Our next stop was Trinity College campus, where Sarah is an alum. This spot is truly a landmark of Dublin, and I’m so happy we were able to capture some photos here! From campus, we walked to Hennepin Bridge for sunset photos along the River Liffey. As they showed me their city, we talked about wedding plans, film photography, and they even taught me some words in Irish!

As day turned into night, we found a nearby Irish pub to end our session with a pint and some bubbly. Sarah and Brian were all eyes on each other, and of course we had to show off Sarah’s gorgeous ring! I absolutely loved experiencing Dublin with these two, and capturing their love along the way.
