Downtown Chicago Summer Engagement – Grace & Henry
Grace and Henry’s Chicago summer engagement was the perfect mix of iconic city moments and a cozy date night at the lakefront. I met up with these two in the heart of downtown on a beautiful June evening when the city was buzzing. We started our session in front of the Chicago Theatre, one of my favorite photo locations! With the marquis lights illuminating State Street, this spot feels even more magical. Grace and Henry were all about each other… and up for anything!
Chicago Riverwalk Engagement Photos
From there, we took a stroll along the Riverwalk to take in the views and summer breeze. We chatted about wedding details, their pup Lincoln, and plans for the summer ahead. The golden light sparkled on the water, and downtown Chicago felt alive with energy. We made our way to another favorite downtown location – the view from LaSalle Street Bridge!

Lincoln in the Park
Our final stop was none other than Lincoln Park, to meet a very important guest: their dachshund, Lincoln! Not only was his cameo appearance a highlight of our session, rumor has it I get to see this little guy again on wedding day! As you can see, he brought the cuteness and the smiles… Grace and Henry are clearly smitten. And of course we couldn’t end our session without taking advantage of the skyline view at North Avenue Beach – it’s a classic for a reason.
