Downtown Chicago Summer Engagement Featuring Marty the Pup – Meredith & Matt

Meredith and Matt are getting married in 10 DAYS!! I’m kicking off the countdown with their classic Chicago summer engagement session.

I met these two outside the Wrigley building, one of my favorite downtown photo locations. Meredith’s was perfect for twirling, so of course we had to practice some dance moves! We strolled along the Riverwalk, chatting about their recent trip to Europe, wedding planning, and how much we love living in Chicago. After an impromptu stop outside the Chicago Theatre, we headed to LaSalle Street for some classic photos with the bridge. Meredith and Matt were as adorable as can be – I can’t wait for us to do it again next weekend!

Lakefront Stroll with Marty

When the sun began to set, we headed north to Diversey Harbor. Who was waiting there to meet us? Their pup Marty McFloof, of course! Marty greeted us with tail wags, an on-theme outfit, and big puppy smile. Rumor has it this guy will be joining us on wedding day, too! Marty joined Meredith and Matt for an evening walk at the lakefront, with the Chicago skyline as their backdrop. The sky was all shades of purple, pink and blue – it was truly the most romantic evening. Not to mention: Meredith’s unique and stunning engagement ring! We just had to feature the sparkles. I couldn’t think of a better ending to their classic Chicago summer engagement session.
