Classic Chicago Fall Engagement Session – Renee & Keyur
Anyone else excited that it finally feels like FALL?! Today I’m throwing it back to Renee and Keyur’s Chicago fall engagement session last October. I love that these two wanted to showcase the beauty of the season in their engagement photos: crisp air, colorful foliage, and our iconic skyline, of course.
Fall Foliage in Lincoln Park
We met in Lincoln Park on a beautiful October afternoon, with the fall trees in their prime. This location is perfect for classic engagement photos – exactly what Renee and Keyur had in mind! Their outfits complemented each other and I made sure to highlight both of their engagement rings. We had fun strolling through the park and playing in the leaves – they were not afraid to get creative!
A Classic Skyline View
After exploring the Nature Boardwalk, we headed toward Olive Park for evening photos with the skyline. We talked about their engagement day, their multi-day wedding plans, and all the reasons why fall in Chicago is the best! When we arrived at the lakefront, these two couldn’t help but turn up the romance. The soft colors of the sunset were reflected on the buildings, and the cool breeze added to the vibe. The skyline view at Olive Park is not only unique, but some of the most picturesque sunsets I’ve ever seen have been right here!
Pro Tip: If you’re planning a Chicago fall engagement session, schedule it months in advance! This is the most popular time of year for engagement sessions in Chicago, and many photographers book up by early September. I recommend that our couples schedule a fall session in July or August for prime dates and optimal availability.
Renee and Keyur: Thank you again for bringing such warmth and joy to your fall engagement session! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness together.
