Joan & JT’s Romantic Fall Wedding at Bottom Lounge

Last fall, I had the honor of capturing Joan and JT’s Chicago wedding at Bottom Lounge. The day began at The Emily Hotel, in the heart of the West Loop. These two got ready separately with their favorite people, and I was so excited for them to see each other! After their picturesque Lincoln Park engagement session, I had been eagerly awaiting this day. 

Downtown Chicago Wedding Photos

After their joyful first look outside the hotel, we hopped on a trolley with 30+ of their favorite people to tour downtown Chicago. Their official wedding party joined us for photos at some iconic locations! Between the in-between glances and congratulations from passersby, Joan and JT could not have been more in love. Finally, before heading to the venue, we stopped at LaSalle Street bridge for a photo with the entire group!

Bottom Lounge Wedding

When we arrived at Bottom Lounge, the room was perfectly set with candlelight, lush greenery and vintage carpet down the aisle. It was incredible to see the live music venue transformed into such a warm and romantic space! That evening, JT and Joan were married in the presence of their favorite people, in a ceremony led by JT’s father. Once they made it official, everyone was ready to celebrate with these two! 

Champagne and custom cocktails flowed throughout the evening, including special details dedicated to their pup Doug. Guests enjoyed dinner and dancing surrounded by greenery, disco balls, and the happiest Newlyweds. I absolutely loved seeing their vision come together and capturing this happy day!
