Humboldt Park Newlywed Session Featuring Black Wedding Dress – Heather & Christopher

Last month, I was lucky enough to meet up with Heather and Christopher for their fall newlywed session in Humboldt Park! These two tied the knot over the summer and will celebrate with friends and family on Halloween here in Chicago. You may recognize Heather as the face of Pie, Pie My Darling – Chicago’s most delicious vegan bakery in West Town (I’m a huge fan!). Christopher looked dapper in all black and Heather stunned in her black wedding dress. I’m so happy that their sweet pup Juno tagged along for photos, too!

Humboldt Park Wedding Photos

That afternoon we made our way through Humboldt Park, soaking up the golden light and their newlywed joy. Juno could not have been more photogenic, and was eager to join for some family photos. Shout out to Kara for spending the evening with us and keeping an eye on Juno! 

Once the sun began to set, we made our way over to my favorite lagoon in the park. In case you’re wondering, no – this is not the lagoon where Chance the Snapper was captured in 2019 (IYKYK). I’m obsessed with the surrounding nature and view at this spot, especially at sunset. Heather and Christopher were all about each other, taking in the scenery on that gorgeous evening. These photos are some of my favorites from our entire session!
